They chipped my beautiful diamond during a reset

My diamond was reset. It was a superb stone that had one flaw. I was distraught, they said they needed to rellace it. They did but the cut, color, clarity quality was lower than my stone. Do not purchase from them. They do not carry quality stones! I wanted my original stone back and they said no. It bugs me to this day as I was not able to see the diamond report there. Only after and there are MANY flaws. The stone is junk.

Reset went wrong! They chipped my diamond

I have called numerous times since this happened. Opened cases for resolution, no resolution. I went in for a reset. The diamond I came in with was an excellent cut, color and one feather flaw on the side. Well the person doing the reset put the prong and set on the flaw causing a chip. I was extremely upset. I wanted my appraisal done prior to reset but was told they would do it after. Now that my stone was chipped they gave me a diamond bit I researched the stone etc and found the specs on it. Si1 with MANY inclusions and listed a good cut. This is sub par compared to my stone.

I had an issue with a reset. They cracked my diamond and gave me one that was not the same quality as a replacement

I went in for a reset. I wanted my diamond appraised as I already knew it was high quality, excellent cut, color with one small flaw. The person resetting the stone pit the prong on the flaw, and it cracked. I was given another stone to make things right. They didnt give me the same quality. I cried so much as this was a special ring. I asked for my diamond back, and they said they needed to send it to the main office. Sure, they will recut and have a flawless stone. I have made numerous calls and cases open. Still no resolution. I even emailed the CEO. Nothing. My advice, do not go near Littman .

Warranty worthless all stores closed in NY

Paid $225 for a warranty on my wife's $3,000 wedding ring set now all the stores in NY are closed so we cant get the required inspection and we sure are not mailing it in they must refund the warranty price they charged us as this is crooked stay away from Littman's !!!!stay away from Littman's s

Layway no access lack of customer service from care center

I called the customer service line to inquire about my layway. I told there is no way to access the layway remotely. I am not able to cancel it or pay on it. Furthermore the same ring ct size style and color is on your web site for 50% now. I asked the lady if they would honor the price because it not my fault your business is not on the 21st century curve as far as tech is concerned. Total inconvience. The person who answered the phone was unbothered about Littmans have a $1000 of my money and not giving me anyway to fix this problem. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE you need to hire people that care more about the customer!!!

Buyers beware

I have purchased multiple pieces from this store always with the store policy being that u can upgrade and get the value of what u paid .NOT TRUE! IF I COULD RETURN EVERY PIECE O WOULD. I welcome the opportunity for a store rep to call me . Other than that I will never purchase from this company again

BEWARE

Awful Company and even worse jewelry! Every single piece my fiancé purchased for me last year (2018) has fallen apart. They have fallen to lower than Walmart quality and I don’t believe some of their employees are being paid properly. Seems like they are circling the toilet bowl!

College degree not needed. College managers make the same mistakes as non.

It's all about problem solving and customer service. I find college trained people have a hard time with out of the box thinking.

Not all, but a great deal. Best employees I ever hired were self motivated and military.

Poor accountability

I brought my grandmother's seventy-year-old ring to be sized. I was very concerned about the sizing as due to medical reasons my fingers tend to swell. I made this very clear to the representative who helped me and offered to size my ring accordingly. at the time of the sizing I notified the attendant that my finger was more swollen than usual and then I would like to have the ring sized a bigger than I normally would wear and would simply purchase a ring guard if needed to be smaller. The attendant measured my finger and insured me the size would be correct. when asked what the sizing would be she stated approximately a half a shank. I was not sure what a shank was and was notified that that was the size I needed after much debate I was assured my grandmother's ring was in safe keeping and would be sized accordingly. Upon return the ring was sized two sizes and correctly. when returning to the store to have it resized larger the same attendant assisted. When the events were reported, the attendant stated the individual who assisted did not put the exact size on the order sheet therefore there was debate to what the size actually was supposed to be. to my disappointment and Discovery the individual helping me the first and second time was the same. Not only did this representative for this company put blame on the original order that indeed was her who wrote it but also wrote a second order as if she was not accountable or aware of the first error. The cost to repair and resize the ring was much and now additional charges again accrued. I understand errors are made but for such a reputable jeweler I would assume accountability and customer satisfaction would be their first priority and sadly was not.

Jewelry store scam

I let the Littman Jewelers (Parkway Place) store in the mall, Huntsville, AL, send a very rare diamond ring out for an appraisal. Surprise, surprise, it was "lost". The Huntsville police and FBI have been called. The sales clerk told me it was going to an appraiser in Florida but the address on the FedEx package was actually Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. That’s no accident, that’s theft. I called their headquarters to complain and they opened a case file but told me I wouldn’t hear from anyone for 7-10 days! The diamond ring is probably long gone by now. Fenced in NJ no doubt. I will let EVERYONE I know about this incident. No business should stay in business when they are dealing in illegal activities and their employees violate the public trust.

You need to get in touch with Huntsville police department and ask for detective Zaremba. She’s the one that dealt with my case.

She wasn’t able to get them but at least if your details are similar she can maybe call someone in for questioning.

Contact me if you want to meet about this. I feel your pain and loss over expensive items that I believe were stolen by them.

Lifetime replacement

I just found out yesterday that if the inspection card that they sign when inspected gets lost, stolen, eaten by the dog or whatever that littmans dont have to cover loose or lost stones. Called Corp and they said every case is different but it would be up to the regional corp individual on how to proceed. I asked why they just cant put it in the computer "inspected 07/20/19 by name"....that would take literally 20 seconds. She said she would submit the suggestion and maybe in the future they would implement it. This is such *** I will never buy littmans jewelry again until they change this policy, it's only a way to screw the consumer.

They don’t put it in the system so they can charge you whenever you lose your paperwork because undoubtedly over 50% will misplace/Throw out!! *** corporate America padding their pockets!

Lost ring

Someone please help. I sent my wedding ring in for repair, since all the stores are closing. It is 5 yrs old.. “They lost it”. They are offering a replacement online shopping. They do not carry that one anymore.. we bought extended warranty etc.. do I have other options??!!

Horrible

Just got married. Husband bought the ring 10 years ago (yea i know forever ago). The ring is a 3 piece set 2 bands 1 engagement piece. 1 of the bands is FAKE!!! Still waiting to hear from corporate. Highly doubt i will. I am giving them 1 week to respond before i call back.

I am writing again in reference to the jewelry warranty. I had purchased numerous items and was advised that Littmans service plan is no longer on the items purchased awhile back. I don’t think that is fair to me. I have to pay now for a pair of diamond earrings $65.00. That is really a poor way to do business. I hope that someone can help me. Thank you.
