Littman Jewelers - Customer Care Review
Lifetime warranty garbage they offer is total scam. Getting major run around for a piece bought last summer that fell apart.
Tungsten wedding band...quality control failed on this sucker. They take it in and let you think it's covered....yeah right. Nothing but a run around since. No calls to you btw....you chase them around.
The people that work there are also very rude and inconsiderate of anything but making a sale.
Customer service is a lost cause here. Shop at your own risk.
Littman Jewelers - Ring Repair Review
Late last December (2015) my fiance bought an engagement ring from a Littman location near by and bought the Lifetime Care Package with it. After proposing we bought the ring to the location to be resized only to find out they would be closing in the middle of January (less than 3 weeks from the time it was bought) .
There is not another location within 50 miles of where we live so I was unable to take the ring for a 6 month inspection. Now,almost exactly a year from recieving the ring I believe the diamond is loose in the setting because I can hear a rattling noise when I shake my ring. I call the 800 number to ask what to do and was told since it was not taken at 6 months the care plan is void.
NEVER buy from them. I now can understand why so many locations have closed.
Littman Jewelers Ring Repair Review
My husband got my engagement ring at a Buffalo, NY area Littmans and then we got our wedding bands there also. Not quite 2 years later I noticed a stone was loose in the quad setting of my ring.
It was 4 smaller diamonds set in a square so it looks like 1 large stone. We brought it in and were initially told they'd send it to their jeweler to be repaired. We came to pick it up and were told it can't be fixed! They said (as I've read here many other's have been told too!) that I had to wait until the stone fell out, then needed to give them my ring and they'd send me a new one!
I thought it would be way cheaper for them to just tighten the setting, than for me to do that!! No wonder they're closing stores all over the place! That's not all.....THEN- they tell us because it's been over a year, we can "trade up" and I could just pick a new ring with a different setting, then we wouldn't have to worry about losing the loose stone! I was fine with that, we spent alot of time looking and found one, only to be told "Oh, it can't be of less or equal cost, has to be at least $1000.00 more, and we'd have to pay for it ahead of time!!" REALLY??!!
I mean, trade up isn't you have to pay up, is it?? We tried talking to supervisors, they sent us to different stores, just crazy, got nowhere.
Now I rarely wear my ring after 15 years because I don't want to lose that stone! No more chain stores for me!!!
Littman Jewelers - Customer Care Review
I was trying to return the watch a day after I had purchased it. I was not happy with it. The assistant manager told me she could not refund purchase because she did not have enough in her register.

Littman Jewelers Customer Care Review
POOR QUALITY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
My husband purchased my engagement ring for me about 6 years ago. Within those 6 years the amount of issues I dealt with has been ridiculous.
Numerous diamonds fell out, twice being the larger center stone, the band itself cracked three times and when they went to replace the band - it was all distorted and misshaped. The last time the center stone fell out - we were fed up and asked for our money back. Ofcourse, they wouldn't give it to us and instead said that through our lifetime warranty, we could get a new ring. Obviously, having to pay the difference and the increased price on the new warranty.
(AKA they made more money off us schmucks who just wanted an engagement ring. WITHIN ONE WEEK d diamond in my new ring fell out. When we called they refused a refund and instead said they would overnight us a FEDEX box to return the ring and they would send me a brand new one. Well not only are they a store full of *** quality and *** employees but now you can add LIARS to their resume.
Five days later and still no box.
When I just called the store to ask for a tracking number, the sales lady stumbled on her words and told me the manager was out till Monday. I AM DISGUSTED AND WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THIS PLACE A DIME.
Littman Jewelers "Bait and Switch"
I was a victim of “Bait and Switch” recently at the Greece Ridge Mall, Rochester, NY Littman Jewelers store.
On July 5, 2016, I brought my diamond channel ring to this store for the tightening of a tiny loose diamond. I spoke with Jen, a salesperson there. Jen noticed that the base of my band was bent and worn from age and suggested that I have it repaired at the same time the jeweler tightened the stone. Another salesperson happened to overhear the conversation and she came over and explained that she just sent her ring in because it, too, had worn thin over the years. She explained that the jeweler would cut the bottom of the ring and rebuild the bottom of the shank and when the repair was done, it would look like a brand new ring. I asked if at the time the bottom shank was removed and rebuilt, if it could be enlarged. The salesperson indicated that they could certainly do this and there would not be an extra charge for the enlargement, which was approximately a quarter size larger (from size 5-3/4 to size 6).
Jen looked up the price of each repair. I was quoted a price of $25 plus tax for the stone tightening and $160 plus tax for the half-shank work, for a TOTAL of $185 plus tax. Jen filled out the work request, where she indicated the TOTAL cost as $185 plus tax for the entire job. On the receipt to the left of the price, is an area where she circled “CHRG”. Also on this line are other words including “ESTIMATE”. The word “ESTIMATE” is NOT circled, thus indicating that my charge (cost) would be $185 plus tax.
Today, July 8, 2016, I received a message asking me to call the store because they had a new “Estimate” for me. When I returned the call, I was told that the cost would now be $375 plus tax for the stone tightening and half shank. I explained that I was quoted an actual price and not an estimate, as evidenced by my receipt. The salesperson then said that the jeweler indicated that he needed to use more gold because my band was thick. I indicated that I was very unhappy with this change and if the store would not honor the price I was quoted, I did not want the work done and would pick up my ring. Furthermore, I stated that I would go online and write negative comments regarding my experience and caution others not to deal with Littman Jewelers. The salesperson stated that she would let the jeweler know that I dd not want the work done. I asked if she had the ring so that I could pick it up and was told that the jeweler had it. I told her I would like it back right away and to call me when it was there so that I could pick it up.
To add “insult to injury”, I went on the Littman Jewelers Facebook page and commenced to tell my story to warn others not to deal with Littman Jewelers. After submitting my comments, they did not appear on the page. Obviously, you block comments from individuals who have a complaint. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I WILL BE COMMENTING ON OTHER WEBSITES REGARDING THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL “BAIT AND SWITCH” EXPERIENCE.
Also, once I have my ring back, I plan to take it to a reputable jeweler to be sure that my diamonds have not been exchanged for other cheap or fake stones.
I will also be contacting the BBB, Attorney General's Office and the Jewelers Vigilance Committee regarding this experience.
Littman Jewelers - Ring Review from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Worst retail experience EVER. Where do I begin...On 8/19 my husband of one year decided to give me a ring upgrade, I was so excited because it was unexpected and I know he really loves me.
Off to Littmans we go. We were eagerly greeted by a sales associate and I found this gorgeous 1 carat ring. It had to be sized and would take a week to complete. On 8/26, I bounce on over to the mall so excited to pick my ring up.
The same sales rep was there; when I looked at the ring up close...one of the side diamonds was missing. WHAT? He tells me he's sorry, he doesn't know how that happened and will have it fixed, but now it won't be ready until 8/31. OK (My patience is being tried, but it's all good).
On 8/29 I get a phone call from the same sales rep, he proceeds to tell me that it will be an extra day; so now your talking pick-up on 9/1. Today, go to pick up my ring and a new sales
Rep tells me they can't find it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Wait...it gets better.
Since I only had a gift receipt and did not have my husbands charge card, I had to go home and get him to get a refund. Another sales rep says that's she wants me to be happy and that I should pick out another ring, FOR WHAT? If they lost my first ring, why the h*** would I get another one which would also have to be sized. I'm so distraught, they have taken what's was supposed to be a beautiful gesture of love and turn it into a nightmare.
I will never set foot in there again and you shouldn't either. When my husband said we might check out Zales, the rep says, "they have bad reviews online". WOW!
After they completely *** up my experience, they have the nerve to diss their competitors. Classy
Horrible experience
I do not believe that littman jewelers would ever make this horrible situation correct. Just post my experience and let other consumers who hopefully check reviews first know to be careful.

Littman Jewelers Customer Care Review from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
My wife just visited your Wyoming Valley mall location in PA. She was there to pickup a ring which was repaired.
She was there at 10:00am when the store is supposed to open. She stood outside the locked store for 15 minutes while the store employees stood around talking to each other. They saw her standing there. She should have been in and out.
But, instead she ended up late for work. Every time we deal with the story there is a problem.
I would never make the mistake of making another purchase there. Nor would I recommend you to anyone.

That Tungsten ring should have been covered.....PERIOD!!!! The manufacturer (Goldman) offers that on every ring FOR FREE!!
You should NEVER PURCHASE the Lifetime warranty on Tungsten bands....It’s a SCAM!
The manufacturer gives it to you for FREE!!!! I worked for Littman, so I do know a little something about this!
This reply is not correct. Goldman does not replace the ring for free.
The store is charged for every replacement.
Buy the care plan. It is worth every penny.
